Marquette/Houghton – A bus tour to the Rozsa Center in Houghton for the Pine Mountain Music Festival’s premiere of the U.P. opera “Rockland” will be offered on Sunday, July 17. The tour is for the 3 p.m. matinee performance and will depart from Marquette, with pickups scheduled in Negaunee, Ishpeming, Koski Korners and other locations along the way.
Cost of $69 per person includes motorcoach transportation and theater tickets. For those who have theater tickets, transportation-only costs $40 per person. Host and guide will be Fred Huffman of Marquette Country Tours. Carl Pellonpaa of “Finland Calling” and his wife, Doris, will accompany the group.
The tour will make a rest stop at the Hilltop Cafe in L’Anse and will stop at the Pilgrim River Steakhouse in Houghton after the performance for a Dutch treat dinner.
