Munising – Munising’s Independence Day Celebration on Monday, July 4 will include many activities for the entire family.
Bayshore Park will be scene for the Watermelon Eating Contest at 1:45 p.m., “The Guess is Right” from 2 to 3:30 p.m.and again from 5:30 to 7 p.m., Free Ice Cream at 2:30 p.m., Free Quarters at 7 p.m., the Egg Toss Contest at 8 p.m. and fireworks beginning at dusk.
The Munising Volunteer Fire Department will have a water fight at 4:30 p.m. on Elm Street and a Grease Pole at 5:30 p.m. at the City Pier.
