Marquette – The Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center at Northern Michigan University will present a month-long series of events tied to its exhibition “Across the Border: Canadians in the Upper Peninsula.”
A St. Patrick’s Day Ceilidh, a Gaelic social gathering with music, dancing, poetry and storytelling, will take place on Thursday, March 17 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Dance Zone, 1113 Lincoln Ave., Marquette.
Admission is $2 students, $5 adults and free for young children accompanied by a parent. Attendees asked to bring a dish to pass.
