Marquette – In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Marquette Masonic Center building's re-dedication, the Vertigo Theatre Company, in collaboration with the Marquette Masonic Association and Square Guy Productions, LLC, will perform Shakespeare's “Macbeth” on Friday, September 11 in the center's Red Room Theatre.
The evening will begin with a social hour at 6 p.m. featuring fine local food, beverages and live classical music.
The play begins at 7 p.m., followed by an artists' reception from 9:45 to 11 p.m. with champagne cake truffles and other refreshments.
An encore performance will be offered on Saturday, September 12 with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the performance at 7 p.m. There will not be food and beverage at this performance.
