The program includes: a free family meal, child care for children age 3 and younger, a parents group with the focus on developing improved skills for family life, a skills group for children ages 6 to 11 and 12 to 16, and a family group to practice together the skills learned in groups.
The Strengthening Families program was specifically developed for the children of parents who abuse alcohol and drugs.
