Calendar – Music – Marquette Symphony Orchestra Concert – Nov. 21

Marquette – The Marquette Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Jacob Chi, will present “Romanticists No. 2” on Saturday, November 21 at 7:30 p.m.at Kaufman Auditorium in Marquette.

The concert will feature international piano sensation Hyejin Kim performing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2, the most celebrated work of its kind written in the 20th century.

The concert also will include Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 2.p>Tickets cost $25 for adults, $10 for students (limited availability), $10 for ages 13-18, and $7 for 12 and younger. Purchase tickets by calling NMU E-Z Tickets at 227-1032, or online at www.nmu.edu/tickets. Tickets will also be sold one hour before the concert.
