Northern Michigan University invites you to these upcoming concerts! From student recitals to a full orchestra, the live music should be a hit!
NMU Student Recital #1:
Students attending Northern Michigan University in the music department will perform a piece or pieces of their choice on their instrument as a requirement of their program. Join us in Reynolds Recital Hall on Friday, February 7th, at 1:00PM for the first Student Recital!
NMU Student Recital #2:
Students attending Northern Michigan University in the music department will perform a piece or pieces of their choice on their instrument as a requirement of their program. Join us in Reynolds Recital Hall on Friday, February 21st, at 1:00PM for the second Student Recital!
NMU Jazz Concert:
NMU Jazz Band and Jazz Combos will be performing their first Winter/Spring ’25 concert on Wednesday, February 12th, at 7:30PM in the Reynolds Recital Hall. Admission is free for everyone!
NMU Orchestra Children’s Concert:
NMU’s University Orchestra will be performing their annual Children’s Concert! These concerts often feature recognizable music from popular films or just a playful spirit. Additionally, this performance will begin and end an hour earlier than out typical evening concerts. This event will take place on Wednesday, February 19th at 5:30PM. Free admission!
NMU Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble Concert:
The NMU Symphonic Band & Wind Ensemble, directed by Dr. Steve Riley, will be performing in Reynolds Recital Hall for the first two winter semester concerts on Monday, February 24th, at 7:30PM. Free admission!
NMU Choral Concert:
NMU’s Choral Ensemble perform their first Winter ’25 concert on Tuesday, March 11th, at 7:30PM in Reynolds Recital Hall. Free admission to a wonderful night of singing.
