Bark River, MI – Northern Sun Winery is hosting U-P Gumbo on Sunday, August 18th. Minimum ticket donation is $10 in advance and $15 at the door and include a vineyard and wine cellar tour at 3 pm ET, two wine samples, and music at 4 pm.
Bring a blanket, picnic and/or friends you will have a great time. No carry-ins allowed.
The U-P Gumbo Band was formed in Marquette about six years ago to perform Louisiana music for Mardi Gras at the local Lagniappe Cajun-Creole Eatery, and they still perform there and elsewhere around the region.
All seasoned musicians, the quartet includes multi-instrumentalist and singer Warren Hantz, resonator guitarist and singer Bill Hart, stand-up bass player Bob Guidebeck, and percussionist Randy “da Bones Man” Seppela.
100% of the ticket proceeds will be donated to DCNT to create and maintain sustainable non-motorized, multi-use trail systems in and connecting Delta County that use the region’s natural assets and expand recreational opportunities for residents and visitors. http://dcntrails.com/about/
