Marquette Little League Mandatory Player Tryouts for all in the following leagues will be held at Marquette's City Gym, 300 W. Baraga Avenue. (Please enter through the Police Station.) April 10 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.- Fastpitch Softball Minors, Majors, Juniors and Seniors 9-16 yrs of age. April 11 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. – Baseball Minors 8-10 yrs. of age including returning players. April 13 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. – Baseball Majors 10-12 yrs. of age including returning players. Players need to report sometime between 5:30 and 6:45 p.m. with a glove and tennis shoes, ready to take part in a series of exercises designed to allow managers/coaches an opportunity to evaluate players talents allowing for the dividing of players for a draft selection for their prospective leagues. Marquette Little League and the 2006 Season registration will be available. Parents should be prepared to fill out a medical release form.
