2018 Pioneer Days Parade, Community Picnic, & Fireworks – July 14

Negaunee, MI  –  Saturday, July 14th join the Negaunee Community in celebrating the final day of Pioneer Days 2018.

The 39th Annual Pioneer Days Parade will start a 11:30 a.m. Line-up beings at 10:30am in front of the Negaunee Senior Center. The parade will take the annual route down Iron Street right through the middle of town. The parade theme will be: “Our Local Service Organizations- The Heart of Our Community!”

Following the parade, stop by Teal Lake for the Pioneer Days Community Picnic at 1pm. The picnic will have activities and vendors until dusk including food, live music and children’s activities. Performing during the Pioneer Days Community Picnic is Country Music Association artist Donald Benjamin. Benjamin is an award-winning singer songwriter – learn more on his website.

At dusk, line up around the Teal Lake shoreline and catch the annual Teal Lakes Firework Display.

Alumni softball games at LaCombe Field, beginning at 6 p.m.

Saturday July 7th

Alumni softball games at LaCombe Field, beginning at Noon.

Sunday, July 8th

Alumni softball games at LaCombe Field, beginning at Noon.

Monday, July 9th – Thursday, July 12th

Alumni softball games at LaCombe Field, beginning at 6 p.m.

Wednesday, July 11th

Old-timers Softball Game begins at 3:00 p.m. at LaCombe Field.

Thursday, July 12th

Pioneer Princess Pageant begins at 7 p.m. in the 13thNegaunee High School Auditorium.

Friday, July 13th

Alumni softball games finals and championship at LaCombe Field, beginning at 6 p.m.

Saturday, July 14th

The 39th annual Pioneer Days Parade begins at 11:30 a.m.  Line-up begins at 10:30 a.m. at Negaunee Senior Center.

Pioneer Days Community Picnic takes place from 1 p.m. until dusk at Teal Lake, featuring food, music, children’s activities

The Negaunee Fireworks Display begins at dusk over Teal Lake.
