What:

Walk through “The Tunnel of Lights” in the Pocket Park. There will be a Craft Show from 4-8pm at the City Center and the holiday parade starts at 6pm on Iron Street! There will also be shopping, entertainment, refreshments and snacks, specials, prizes and more! Following the tree lighting, get pictures with Santa at the Elk’s Cub.

We also will be providing the Tinseltown Passport again this year to allow Shoppers to have a chance to win custom gift baskets and give-away’s stocked full of gift certificates and goods from participating businesses.

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser

The VFW 3165 Auxiliary will be hosting a Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser on Saturday, September 22nd at Post 3165! Enjoy a delicious homemade meal from 4:30 to 7p in Negaunee.

A suggested donation of $8.00 will get you in spaghetti with homemade meat sauce, homemade garlic bread, tossed salad, dessert and coffee! Bring the whole family; kids under the age of 6 eat free.

2018 Pioneer Days Parade, Community Picnic, & Fireworks – July 14

Negaunee, MI  –  Saturday, July 14th join the Negaunee Community in celebrating the final day of Pioneer Days 2018.

The 39th Annual Pioneer Days Parade will start a 11:30 a.m. Line-up beings at 10:30am in front of the Negaunee Senior Center. The parade will take the annual route down Iron Street right through the middle of town. The parade theme will be: “Our Local Service Organizations- The Heart of Our Community!”

Following the parade, stop by Teal Lake for the Pioneer Days Community Picnic at 1pm. The picnic will have activities and vendors until dusk including food, live music and children’s activities. Performing during the Pioneer Days Community Picnic is Country Music Association artist Donald Benjamin. Benjamin is an award-winning singer songwriter – learn more on his website.

At dusk, line up around the Teal Lake shoreline and catch the annual Teal Lakes Firework Display.
