Marquette County Conservation District Workshop September 14th

Marquette, MI – Join the Marquette County Conservation District for the fourth and final workshop in the Urban Agriculture Workshop Series. We will meet on Saturday, September 14th at 10:00 am. Learn about native bees and other pollinators and visit Trestle Park, the Marquette County Conservation District’s native plant garden and certified Monarch waystation in downtown Marquette. Learn about invasive plants, how to replace them with natives and how to create pollinator habitat in your own backyard.

Citizens’ Climate Lobby Meeting September 14th

Marquette, MI – Join the Marquette Chapter of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby for the group’s monthly meeting in the Lions Room of the Peter White Public Library at 12:30 PM on Saturday, September 14th. The national CCL group will present a video-conference to the local chapters during these meetings, which are regularly scheduled the second Saturday of each month.
