Seney National Wildlife Refuge Morning Tours Start July 1st

Seney, MI – Seney National Wildlife Refuge Morning Tours will take place every Monday & Friday from July 1 – August 31 from 10 am – 12:30 pm.

Additional dates in the fall are:
Monday, Sept. 2
Friday, Sept. 13 & 27
Friday, Oct. 11

Join us for a guided tour of the refuge. We will be on the lookout for wildlife while sharing information on the history of the refuge and current management practices.

Classic and Antique Car and Truck Show June 23rd

Seney National Wildlife Refuge Children’s Fishing Day June 22nd

Seney, MI – Seney National Wildlife Refuge will hold a Children’s Fishing Day on Saturday, June 22nd from 9am to 3pm. We’re celebrating 30 years! Anglers ages 16 and under are welcome to participate. We provide poles and bait. Register at the Visitor Center before fishing. Activities and games begin at noon in the visitor center. A complimentary fish dinner for all participants and their families will be held at 3 pm, followed by an awards ceremony and random prize give away.

Loaves and Fishes Community Meal June 19

Michigan Iron Industry Museum Antique Automobile Exhibit June 16th

Negaunee, MI – Michigan Iron Industry Museum will present its Iron, Steel and the Automobile Exhibit on Sunday, June 16th, 2019 from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm at the Michigan Iron Industry Museum, 73 Forge Rd., Negaunee, MI 49866.

Enjoy a stroll around the grounds of the Michigan Iron Industry Museum for one of the Upper Peninsula’s premiere auto shows. The 30th annual presentation features more than 50 vintage cars and light trucks from the 1910s through 1969. Also enjoy live jazz and swing from the Bluffs Orchestra and refreshments.

There is a $3 suggested parking donation for the event.

Funday Sunday Concert Series June 16th

Bark River, MI – Northern Sun Winery is hosting Small Potatoes on Sunday, June 16th. Minimum ticket donation is $10 in advance and $15 at the door and include a vineyard and wine cellar tour at 3 pm ET, two wine samples and music at 4 pm.
