Fresh Coast Plein Air Painting Festival June 28th – 29th

Marquette, MI – The third annual Fresh Coast Plein Air Painting Festival will begin in the evening on Friday, June 28th and go through Saturday, June 29th in Presque Isle Park. Local artists will take to the Lake Superior shoreline to put brush to canvas in the open air. Walk along and get inspired by artistry that comes alive in front of your eyes. Want to know more? Marquette City Band Presents “Tunes and Tubas” Concert June 27th

Marquette, MI – Marquette City Band Concert presents “Tunes and Tubas” on Thursday, June 27th from 7:30 pm-8:30 pm at the Marquette Commons. We will celebrate the tuba and the amazing music tuba players are capable of with “Tunes and Tubas” for our Art Week Concert.

Ottawa Visitor Center Presents Gifford Pinchot and the First Foresters June 27th

Watersmeet, MI – The Ottawa Visitor Center welcomes Bibi Gaston for the Gifford Pinchot and the First Foresters talk on Thursday, June 27th at 7:00 pm. Gatson will talk about her discovery of 5,000 letters written by men and women referred to by Gifford Pinchot, the first Chief of U.S. Forest Service, called the “Old Timers”.
