Doors will open at 10 a.m. and the program will run until 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, in the University Center Great Lakes Rooms. Heidi Parikh, founder and executive director, MyCompassion

Dr. Rob Streisfeld, emcee, naturopathic
“We are doing this because there is a fear around cannabis that a lot of people have,” said Moon, a junior medicinal plant chemistry major. “A lot of people are afraid of what they don’t really know about so we wanted to provide a place where people could learn more about cannabis. People are afraid to talk about things like religion, politics or even drugs, so this event is to get people talking about things that they normally wouldn’t talk about.”
