Number of Positions Available: 1 Part-Time, Summer Full-Time’ish, sometimes full-time’ish position with opportunities to work in other departments to become full time.

Type of Position: 15-25hours/wk with more hours when also working in Multimedia, Web, and Writing Positions.

Position Description: Great Lakes Radio, Inc. (GLR) is seeking an entry-level professional computer and network technician that applies standards, follows up and reports quickly on assignments and the status and progress of repairs and projects. This position must be done in house, there are no remote work opportunities. We will provide paid training for anyone willing to learn.

The Successful Candidate: Ideal candidate is a freshman or sophomore in college who can train full time’ish in the summer and return to 15-25 hours during the semester and working full time’ish in the summer.

Our hope for the “906 Festival” is to offer Curtis, surrounding communities, and visitors to our area a fun, family-friendly event that celebrates OUR HOME, the Upper Peninsula! Our festival will include U.P. food, art and retail vendors and entertainment acts, fun games and activities for both kids and adults, non-profit organization booths, demonstrations, and more! U.P. culture and traditions will be center stage at the “906 Festival” at the ECA!

Gwinn, Mi.– The Gwinn Fun Daze, hosted by the Gwinn’s Lions Club, will be starting up at the Gilbert Elementary School this Saturday, July 28, at 10:00 a.m.

Race/Parade:

Walk, Run, or Roar (5k) in this Gwinn Fun Daze Race! 10:00 a.m. is when the race and parade take off from the Gilbert Elementary (the parade will go down Pine Street to Gwinn High School).
