Come out and catch the original extreme sport, Guts Frisbee. The Bradshaw Award will be given out to this years recipient for their outstanding dedication and major impact for the betterment of Guts. EAA Offers Free Flights for Youth

Marquette, MI – Lake Superior Chapter 850 of the Experimental Aircraft Association will offer free airplane flights for youths ages 8 through 17 on Saturday, July 7. Registration is from 9:30-noon at Sawyer Airport’s General Aviation Terminal. Parents or legal guardians must complete a permission form before the flight; please remember that other relatives are not legal guardians. The Greatest Fourth in the North!

Marquette, Mich.– The Marquette area Fourth of July Fireworks will take place on Wednesday, July 4, at dusk (8:00 p.m.) in the Ellwood Mattson Lower Harbor Park.

In case of inclement weather, the fireworks will be rescheduled for July 5. Fire Chief Ian Davis of the Marquette Fire Department will make that decision and it will be transmitted on TV and radio.

A big thanks goes out to all of those who have been so generous with their donations, suggestions, and cooperation to make this all possible!
