Marquette Farmers Market Begins Season

Marquette, MI – The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market is kicking off the 2018 season on May 26. The market is held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday (through December 15) at the Marquette Commons. In addition to a plethora of local vendors, the market also features live musicians, food demonstrations and other programming throughout the season. NAMI Education Meeting May 21st

Marquette, Michigan – The National Alliance on Mental Illness-Alger/Marquette offers confidential support groups and educational meetings for individuals living with mental illness, and friends or families living with an individual with mental illness.

At 7pm Monday May 21, NAMI will show the film “No Letting Go”, about a young boy’s mental illness and how it shapes the course of his life, as well as the lives of his family members. The film will be screened in the Shiras Room at the Peter White Public Library, 217 North Front Street, Marquette.
