NAMI Support Meeting December 11

Marquette, MI – The National Alliance on Mental Illness-Alger/Marquette offers confidential support groups and educational meetings for individuals living with mental illness, and friends or families living with an individual with mental illness.

All students in grades 5 to 8 are invited to a holiday party and meeting with the JTAB. Play games, plan events for people your age, talk about books, and get volunteer experience. Snacks will be served. The event is free of charge.

Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a self-guided tour of a crèche collection that includes more than 300 pieces from around the world on Thursday, December 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. and on Thursday, January 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. at 128 Timber Lane in Marquette.

NCLL member Carol Margriff began collecting crèches or Nativities in 1966 and has shared them with the community over the past 50 years.
