Marquette – Northern Michigan University’s music department will host “A Brief Introduction to Don Quixote” on Wednesday, November 8 at 7 p.m. in room 319 of the Russell Thomas Fine Arts Building at NMU.

This is a lecture introduction to the plotline and music of the upcoming NMU Siril Cinema Series screening of the American Ballet Theatre’s production. It is free and pizza will be provided.

The screening of the film will be held on Sunday, November 12 at 5 p.m. at Forest Roberts Theatre. It is free for NMU students, faculty and staff with ID and youth ages 18 and under. Admission for the general public is $10. … Read the rest

Marquette – The Northern Michigan University hospitality and tourism management program will host a five-course themed dinner “A Night of Glamour” on Wednesday, November 8 in Chez Nous at the NMU Jacobetti Complex. Seating times are at 4:30, 5:15 and 6:30 p.m.

The 1920s themed dinner will feature chicken a la rose, lemon garlic steak and a special dessert. Non-alcoholic beverages are included.
