Marquette – The Marquette Regional History Center will offer a Historic Bus Tour on Wednesday, August 2 at 6 p.m. beginning at the Center on Spring Street in Marquette.

Take an entertaining, narrated journey through Marquette. The tour is commemorating World War I during the centennial of the Great War. The route takes you through the Historic District, down to the waterfront, and through the streets of Marquette. You will learn interesting historical facts about the Queen City of the North as you hear a general history narration throughout the journey from your tour guide. Through colorful characters that hop on the bus to share their stories, you will learn how the people of Marquette were affected by the Great War, and what everyday life was like here one hundred years ago.

Marquette – Superior Arts Youth Theatre will offer Elementary School Acting Camp on Monday, July 31 through Friday, August 4 from 9:30 a.m. to noon each day in the SAYT’s Audition Room on the 3rd Floor of Graveraet Elementary School in Marquette.

Youth ages 8 to 12 years old will have an opportunity to be introduced or expand their skills in the Elementary School Acting Camp. Youth will be introduced to all aspects of acting, music, technical theatre, and dance while working on a final production. A performance will be offered on Friday, August 4 from noon to 1 p.m.
