Marquette – Teen Zone Chill at the Library will be held on Tuesday, July 25 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Peter White Public Library.

Grab a snack and a friend or two, and chill out in a comfortable, air-conditioned booth at the library. Play board games, work on the community jigsaw puzzle, or browse through the teen book shelves. Lemonade and iced tea will be provided.

Marquette – The Bluesday Tuesday Series will offer a blues jam session on Tuesday, July 25 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library.

The Occasions will be performing with Caitlin Wright on vocals and Dan Zini on bass and backup. They will play a mix of original and cover songs, from funk to blues, jazz to R&B.

Marquette – The Marquette Regional History Center will offer a Historic Bus Tour on Tuesday, July 25 at 1 p.m. beginning at the Center on Spring Street in Marquette.

Take an entertaining, narrated journey through Marquette. The tour is commemorating World War I during the centennial of the Great War. The route takes you through the Historic District, down to the waterfront, and through the streets of Marquette. You will learn interesting historical facts about the Queen City of the North as you hear a general history narration throughout the journey from your tour guide. Through colorful characters that hop on the bus to share their stories, you will learn how the people of Marquette were affected by the Great War, and what everyday life was like here one hundred years ago.

Marquette – UP Shakes’ will present Tennessee Williams’ “A Streetcar Named Desire” on Tuesday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m. at Ore Dock Brewing Company in downtown Marquette.

Anyone familiar with the play on stage or screen can expect a very different experience this time around. The production will feature minimal set and props, shifting focus to the actors and the text. And, because of the venue, beer will be available throughout.
