The Marquette Regional History Center presents:

The Docks of Iron Bay Walking Tour

Wednesday July 19, 6:00 p.m. meet at MRHC

Ore docks, coal docks, freight docks – all crowded the lower harbor since the founding of Marquette.  Find out how the harbor’s changed over the years, learn about what’s left, and discover a few secrets (some hidden in plain sight) about how the docks and the rail lines leading to them shaped downtown Marquette. Prepare for a stroll from the History Center, to the Boardwalk, then down to Lower Harbor Park and back.  Presented by Jim Koski. $5 suggested donation. For more info call 906.226.3571 or visit marquettehistory.org
