Baraga – The Copper Country Humane Society will offer a pet vaccination clinic on Sunday, May 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Ottawa Sportsmen’s Club, 6 Miles West of Baraga on Hwy M-38 just past the Pelkie Road intersection.

Dog combo (DHPP) and cat combo (FVRCP) vaccination are $10, one-year rabies is $10, and three-year rabies is $15. You must have proof of prior year rabies vaccine. Microchipping is $20, ear cleaning and nail trims are free, but donations are appreciated.

Rock – The Rock Lions Club Breakfast Buffet will be held on Sunday, May 21 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Lions Club, 14454 M-35 in Rock.

The all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet includes eggs prepared to order and omelets, bacon, sausage, ham, hash brown potatoes, biscuits and sausage gravy, pancakes, French toast, English muffins, cereal, a variety of fruits, lots of dessert items, and coffee, tea, milk and juice.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for ages 6 to 12 and free for ages 5 and under. Proceeds will go to the Rock Lions Club, a non-profit service organization that provides funding for charitable organizations and local needs.… Read the rest
