Dawn Johnson – Account Manager
Dawn joined Great Lakes Radio in 2011 as an Account Manager with a desire to further her understanding of sales and small business. She joins a group diligently pursuing an active and creative atmosphere in the local community. She loves to see small businesses blossom and develop from campaigns individually designed and conceptualized to suit their needs.
In the past, Dawn experienced Customer Service through a variety of outlets. Each outlet allowed her to expand and develop a new path for problem solutions based on her customer’s needs. This is her first experience in radio.
Dawn received a Bachelors in Professional Communication and Management from Alverno College in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Her degree was conferred with Honors with a focus on her enthusiasm to assist her fellow students, develop a sense of community around Alverno’s athletic program, and as ambassador to all Alverno offerings. She joined student organizations revolved around athletics and served as In-Game Announcer for basketball, volleyball, and soccer games.
Involvement in her community is a large part of Dawn’s life. She actively participates in her church as a vocalist with the Underground Praise Band and teaching Sunday School.
Dawn is a home-town girl who bleeds Maize and Blue. She grew up in Negaunee, Michigan and is thrilled to be home after a ten-year stay in the Milwaukee area. She is the proud mother to a very active little boy, Aiden. When she’s not chasing Aiden around, she exercises her disc golfing skills, bikes and golfs. She cheers for the Green Bay Packers, Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Tigers, Milwaukee Brewers, and the Milwaukee Admirals.
