Negaunee – The Negaunee Orchestra’s 2nd Annual Bunny Hop will be held on Saturday, April 7 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Negaunee Township Hall.
The event is for children ages 2 to 8. There will games, concessions, a bake sale, a petting zoo and an egg hunt.
Admission is $5 per child and free for adults.

Harvey – The Chocolay Lions 11th Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 7 from 11 a.m. to noon at Silver Creek Church in Harvey.
Children can search for plastic eggs outside, while a toddler’s room will be offered inside. Light refreshments will be served and Easter bags will be provided. The Easter Bunny will be available for photos with the children. Bring your camera.
The event is sponsored by the Chocolay Township Lions Club, the Chocolay Area Business Association, and Silver Creek Church.

Marquette – The Marquette Area Jaycees Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 7 from 9 to 10 a.m. at the U.P. Children’s Museum in Marquette.
The event is free, and children should bring an Easter basket. The Easter Bunny will be there to pose for pictures with the children.

Marquette – A Valentine’s Day Dinner and a Movie will be offered on Tuesday, February 14 beginning at 5:30 in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette.
A buffet dinner will be catered by Upfront and Company, followed by the movie “Midnight in Paris” starring Owen Wilson, Rachel McAdams and Kathy Bates.
“Midnight in Paris” is a romantic comedy about a family that travels to Paris on business. The film runs for 96 minutes and is rated PG-13.
Tickets are $12 per person and must be purchased in advance at the library circulation desk or by calling 228-9510 on or before February 13.

Ishpeming – A Valentine’s party “We Love Books Just Like Abe,” for children of all ages, will be held on Saturday, February 11 at 1 p.m. at the Carnegie Public Library in Ishpeming.
The party will include a special puppet show “Valentine Bears,” crafts and special treats. Children are encouraged to bring their own teddy bears.

There will be drink specials throughout the evening, a champagne toast and a balloon drop at midnight.
There is still time to donate to Trees for United Way, and 3 Wise Men will accept those donations on behalf of the United Way.
