The Rocky Horror Show at the Vista Theater!
October 30, 2008
I recently had the pleasure of photographing The Rocky Horror Show at the historic Vista Theater in downtown Negaunee on Wednesday, October 29, 2008. It was worth every minute!
The set, cast and crew do an excellent job in providing the audience with the full flavor of the famed musical to the quaint Vista Theater. They encourage plenty of audience participation with the throwing of rice and toilet paper. A costume contest with many prizes (this years theme is “Naughty Nurses”). They also encourage audience members to respond to lines in the musical with humorous outburst which is led by a few crew members and the faithful few who know whats going on.
I can see why so many people keep going back every year to see this musical. Its funny, raunchy and even though I wasn't marked with a “V” upon entering the theater, I felt like part of the action.
I know that the sold out show on Halloween will be the culmination of lots of hard work by many unselfish individuals and it will be enjoyed by every soul (live or dead) that enters.
Congratulations on another great year!
