Marquette – The Marquette West Rotary Seafood Fest will be held Thursday, August 26 through Saturday, August 28 at the Ellwood Mattson Lower Harbor Park in Marquette.
The festival will run from 4 to 10 p.m. Thursday and Friday and noon to 10 p.m. Saturday. There will be live music throughout the festival. A classic car show is set for Saturday.
In addition, the Rotary Club has partnered with the city of Marquette’s Arts and Culture Division to put on a youth program from noon to 2:30 p.m. Saturday that includes a performance by local singer Adam Whittington.

Marquette – Seeds and Spores Family Farm and Slow Food Central Upper Peninsula will sponsor the second annual Farmstead Feast on Sunday, August 22 at 4:30 p.m. at the Seeds and Spores farm, 724 Greenfield Road, Marquette.
The event will include a tour of the farm and a multi-course meal prepared by local chefs Heather Lynch, Paula Freeman White and Candy Fletcher. Many of the ingredients for the dinner will be harvested from the Seeds and Spores fields. Guests are invited to bring their favorite wine to accompany the menu.
Tickets cost $35 for Slow Food members and event volunteers, $45 for others, and are available at the Marquette Food Co-op, 109 W. Baraga Avenue, Marquette and at the Seeds and Spores booth at the Marquette Farmers and Artists Market, held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays at the Marquette Commons.
