Marquette – The Northern Center for Lifelong Learning will offer a self-guided tour of a crèche collection that includes more than 300 pieces from around the world on Thursday, December 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. and on Thursday, January 4 from 7 to 9 p.m. at 128 Timber Lane in Marquette.
NCLL member Carol Margriff began collecting crèches or Nativities in 1966 and has shared them with the community over the past 50 years.
The cost is free, but attendees are encouraged to donate $5 to the Marquette County Habitat for Humanity. Register by Thursday, December 14, by calling 227-2979. For more information, contact Carol Margriff at 249-9975 or margrifs@gmail.com.
