Position Type: Full Time – Weekdays 8:30 am to 5 pm with 30-60 minute lunch. No scheduled overtime. Other hours and duties assisting various departments may be required, especially during contests and giveaways.
$9 to $11 per hour based upon experience and performance.

We’re looking for an outgoing, charismatic individual who enjoys working with the public and is comfortable selling products at our front desk, online, and over the phone. Excellent communications skills are mandatory to work closely with the sales team and coordinate the addition of new items to the shopping show, manage inventory, and create sales growth.
As the first person the public sees when they come to our office, you’ll need to be dressed for success with a winning smile and charming personality. Customers come in to peruse the shopping show list of available items and your job is to help them find all the great deals we offer. Be friendly, ask questions, and direct them to items that may interest them. You should always be upselling.
Short Description of Position:
Full-time shopping show sales and administrative tasks in the reception area of Great Lakes Radio. Assist sales team and sales manager acquire and maintain client relationships, provide sales support, promotional support, and also help maintain sales and promotional materials.
Quick mastery of phone, fax, email, and other office systems is a must. A variety of other tasks and duties may be required as directed by management. Although this is an entry-level position, it comes with good long-term growth potential for the right candidate.
General office skills required include but are not limited to: professional telephone protocol, reception and cash handling, fax machine (incoming and outgoing), sales support, completing daily reports, filing and organizational skills, excellent computer skills with experience using spreadsheets, Microsoft or Open Office productivity programs, decent typing speed and accuracy, excellent writing and editing skills for online posts once trained, newsletter creation and editing, simple presentations skill, proposal editing, internet account management, detail-oriented policy adherence, communications, and writing skills focused on promotional and marketing success.
Excellent public relation skills are a must.
This position will require quickly learning a wide range of skills while applying training, experience and skills to monthly sales growth, improving sales support, and other administrative assistant tasks.
The ability to succeed – not education – is most desired for this position.

Willing and able to learn new skills, apply them successfully, and work in a highly challenging, multi-tasking environment are also extremely important qualities the successful candidate will possess.
