MARQUETTE, MI – The fourth annual Baraga Avenue Harvest Fest will take place on Saturday, October 8, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on the 100 block of West Baraga Avenue between Front Street and Third Street.

Events for all ages will take place throughout the festival, including a petting zoo, Paint Baraga Avenue Chalk Painting Contest, local vendors, a pasty eating contest, a mechanical bull, children’s activities and more! Music will be provided by Troy Graham & The Fiddle Man and  The Dragon Wagon Trio.  A wide variety of food vendors from the local area will be on hand, and New Holland Brewery will be showcasing their brew, The Carhartt Woodsman, as well as several other New Holland favorites.

“This is a wonderful, family friendly festival celebrating autumn in Downtown Marquette,” said Tara Laase-McKinney, Promotions and Events Coordinator for the Marquette Downtown Development Authority. “There’s something here for everyone, and Baraga Avenue is such a wonderful backdrop for this event.”

This year’s events are sponsored by New Holland Brewery, Pike Distributing, along with Double Trouble Entertainment, Jean Kay’s Pasties & Subs, the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum, and the Marquette Downtown Development Authority.
