Marquette – Readers Theater will meet for a reading of “Romanoff
and Juliet” by Peter Ustinov on Thursday, June 20 at 7 p.m. in the Shiras Room of
the Peter White Public Library.
Romanoff and Juliet is a comic spoof of the Cold War that is set in a small mythical mid-European country whose leader is wooed by the United States and Soviet Union, each one wanting him as an ally.
Refreshments will be served. Readers Theater is a group of adults, who are interested in drama and are willing and able to read a scripted role. They meet on the third Thursday of each month to read plays for enjoyment. New readers are always welcome.
