“Batman: the collection” is the current exhibit on display in the Peter White Public Library’s Violet Johnson Gallery. From the collection of Daniel Choszczyk, the exhibit features clothes, figurines, toys, household items, signs and more related to the “Caped Crusader” as depicted in comic books, on television and in film.

Choszczyk has been collecting Batman memorabilia for 30 years. He is former stage and screen make-up artist specializing in prosthetics and currently operates Black River Blades in Champion, a bladesmith making custom bladed items like knives and swords.

The exhibit is open for viewing during regular library hours and will be on display through January 2013 on the upper level of the library. For more information visit www.pwpl.info or call the library at 226-4318.
