Calendar – Education – Mind Your Money Manners Part 2 – Oct. 10
October 7, 2012
Marquette – Peter White Public Library will hosts Part 2 of the four part new non-commercial financial education series called “Mind Your Money Manners” on Wednesday, October 10 at 7 p.m. in the Community Room of the library.
The class, “Money: Getting to Know You” takes a look at how poor money manners affect our interaction with money. The session will examine how our debt and spending-related patterns are behavioral or habitual in nature, and how the process for modifying any negative patterns starts with gaining insight into the factors that form and perpetuate our relationship with money.
Participants will also learn how behavior and emotion-based assumptions about the financial markets may negatively affect investment-related decisions with our money. The session concludes with three fundamental easy-to-follow concepts for building net worth within the financial markets.
The class concludes with a online live question and answer period with the series creator, Mark B. Robinson.
There is no admission charge to attend the education series. For more information and to pre-register call the library at 226-4318 or visit the website at www.pwpl.info.
