Calendar – Benefits/Fundraisers – Pottery Sale to Benefit Haiti – Jan. 29

Marquette – Students in Gene Bertram’s art class at Negaunee High School will be selling their handmade pottery to benefit the survivors of the earthquake in Haiti on Friday, January 29 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Westwood Mall in Marquette.

Cost is by donation, with all proceeds going to the Red Cross. The class sold enough pottery at its previous sale to benefit more than 13 Haitian families.
